Bochs was in the room when Jerry Jaxon's brain was fried, and yet here he
seems to think Jaxon is still alive.

Ah. So he was under the mistaken (?) impression that Jaxon somehow faked his own death, then?

Of course, he was certainly right about Courtney and the rest, since they showed up later on.

Makes me wonder what happened in the several moments after Jaxon's (and Mac's )death in #12. Coutney still had Bochs tied up - did "she" just let him go? Did Alpha Flight save him? How did Courtney escape?

Bochs thought Jaxon was dead at the end of #12, but these are comics afterall.  Jerome Jaxon could (should?) have made a stunning comeback.

I love JB's answer.  Regardless of whether his answer accurately reflected Roger's statement of 20+ years ago, it's simple, effective, and gets the story back moving.

But somewhere, some guy at Marvel is planning a series of 6 issue mini-series detailing the elaborate backstory behind it to culminate in multiple crossovers.

That "other Marrina" creature is still one of the most disturbing images I've ever seen in a comic. Kudos.
