What does a portfolio look like?
Is it a large book that you can slip the pages into behind some sort of plastic sleeve?
I guess I need to take a trip to the art supply store to take a look.
It might be just the thing I need to hold artwork for viewing before framing, or before I decide to frame a piece.
I store my unframed art in the fantastically elaborate and sturdy shipping containers fashioned by Jim Warden.
They seem really, really safe in those things! (Thanks Jim!)

Pretty much. They're made of either vinyl or leather and have pages that
store art held in place by a ring binder so you can add or subtract pages.
Do a google search for them and you should find plenty of supply sites
that sell them. They also come in various sizes depending on the size of
the art you want to store.
But Jim's packages work nicely too.
