You and Wayne should be advertising executives.  Giving out little snippets like this,is a great way to get our attention and to buy the books.

The interview I did for Newsarama is up on their site.  Some of the questions were tweaked after I answered them so some of the answers seem a bit strange, at the beginning and the last question especially.  But I suppose I better get used to that..........and to the flaming that's already started on the Newsarama boards.  Comes with the territory I reckon.

You keep the chin up, Wayne. I for one am looking forward to the series. In fact it can't come quick enough!

You realised a goal of yours and that is what counts.

I should add that nothing was taken out of context - some of the questions were longer than what was printed and asked for more information.  That's why it reads a bit off.  That last question was prefaced with something like "this is John's first book in ages......." which is why I mentioned the other stuff he had coming out. I'm not mad about it or anything though.

Oh, and they used the wrong cover.  That was the coloring job that IDW did in house.  I liked it but I like Greg's much better.  Hopefully, I've gotten that straightened out.

Wayne, the book looks fine and many people are jazzed about it.  I'm sure you have a thick skin.  Just about everything JB does is a lightning rod for commentary, so this is only to be expected.

Oh yeah, I'm a big boy and long since used to the internet.  No big deal.

Thanks again to all of you for the support.

Well, thanks for letting us take part of your dream, Wayne... I'm SOOO looking forward to finally getting to read it. You and JB have more psyched up about a comicbook in non-TPB format than I've been in ages. And that is saying something!

Also, I enjoyed reading the interview, but had a bit of a follow up question. Your last reply mentioned JB doing an Angel related story for IDW... I don't know if it's been up in here and I've just missed it, but if you or JB could give any more info there, this li'l Whedon fan wouldn't mind to hear it. JB in the Buffy/Angel-verse sounds like good times a-coming.

I'll leave that to John since I have nothing to do with it.  I think it's mentioned on IDW's site though.

I am drawing a 4 page Lorne story for IDW. It's in a whimsical style, and part
of their post-ANGEL storylines.
