Male: the costume that (to me, anyway) says "super-hero" -- Superman (JB's version, with the longer cape that actually moves like a cape would)*.

Female: Wonder Woman (the Andru-Esposito/Sekowsky version with "bicycle shorts" - plenty of leg, but sensible; the more modern versions with the French-cut panties or the almost-thong are too ridiculous for words... though nice to look at...)

*Though, being color-blind, I 've always had a sneaking admiration for the apparentl similarly-afflicted Golden Age Green Lantern, who combined red, green yellow, and purple, and tied 'em al together with a brown belt --!

Male: Black Suit Spidey.
Female: Ms. Marvel

I loved the black suit when it was around the first time.
And I always thought Ms. Marvel's costume was pretty strong.
Captain Marvel (Shazam) is pretty good, too.

The original Captain Britain with the big lion on the front.

And I'll say Snowbird for the ladies.
