Brad Teschner,
The Smartship. It looks so familiar....Power Pack?
It's a keen design.

Hm... I think I'd have to go with Nemesis the Warlock's Blitzspear:
I would agree with Greg Woronchak though. Anything Kirby designed doesn't hurt.
Btw, Brad — I recognise the Smartship so well, but can't for the life of put it in context at the moment... where are they from? (it's driving me nutters).

And while writing the above, John Angelo, obviously provided what I believe is the correct answer to my query. Power Pack does ring a very strong bell here as well, John. Which may be an indication that we're onto something. ;)

Joakim!!
How could I hage forgotten about the Blitzspear?!? Just like the design of Nemesis himself, the Blitzspear is all-out bad ass. It's a strong second for me.
Took me by surprise when I learned it was an organism!

I pick the Surfer's board, which I guess is a vote for Kirby.

>>I can remember several awesome spaceship designs
but the best one ever happens to be the simplest one,

For sheer iconic power that one's pretty hard to beat. I love the markings on
it especially. If there's ever a sister thread for space suits I'm going with the
one on Milou.

My favorite comic book ship would have to be the Micronauts Endeavor, as well.

All my favorite spaceships are from Star Wars and the Slave-1 is on
top, but if I must say one from comics, this one by Walt Simonson is one
of my favs...

Walt drew some amazing stuff in the Scavenge World stories towards the
end of his Battlestar Galactica run...

I'd have to go with one of the Shi'Ar bug-ships (as seen in UXM #137). Interesting design, making it look organic in that fashion.
