It pains me that JB feels that his work on Alpha Flight was a low point for him. I cannot think of anyone but him having worked on this book that was so rich in charcters and continuity. It was never as good with him gone.

There was SO much history built into this book! If JB felt differently and stayed on I think we would have an Alpha Flight franchise much in the way we have an X-Men franchise today.

Of course on second thought, maybe it is good he didn't stick around to make it even greater than it was so that Marvel couldn't ruin it later. Oops, too late.

Shucks. But at least we got what we did!
