I must say that this issue has a very special place in my heart. It must be my favorite She-Hulk story ever, and the explanation of my love for the character.
The art is great, I just love the story. There’s everything in this comic. First, it’s long, then there’s action, fun, nice places, a very sexy scene, drama at the end …
And the crushing of the heli-carrier !! What a great piece of comic. * * *
What you said, David. The She-Hulk graphic novel was one of my first books in my graphic novel collection. I loved this book. I'd never seen the character as being attractive until John Byrne worked with her.
There's a lot of panels in that story that really threw my young mind into some steamy moments! JB, is there a reason this book was so...sexual/adult-themed? Was it the format of a graphic novel that allowed it to be geared towards an older crowd?
Al, I agree, DeMulder's inks work very well for me too.
