Oh -- and re-reading that scene -- I remember thinking that Northstar was just a male-slut -- like a rock-star -- sleeping with woman after woman -- multiple women, etc etc --- it NEVER occurred to me that he was gay.  Even now, knowing, it still reads like he was just practicing "strange" sex -- why would Aurora judge him if she obviously "knew" he was gay...???  Was this implying that Northstar was a GAY male slut?   ummmmm...

By the way the second-to-last panel with James Hudson on the final page looks VERY Adams-esque to me.

Yeah. Love that splash page of Northstar. He really loves his sister and would do anything for her. Really thought Nemesis was an interesting character.

JB, did you have any plans to use Nemesis again in future issues?

"You of all people dare pass judgement over my love life?!?"

************************************************************ ****

I'm ashamed to say after owning this issue over TWENTY years and collecting
for nearly THIRTY, it wasn't until I read the AF TPB that I GOT this line...

<SIGH> It's a wonder i can manage to get my pants on by myself most
mornings...

The splash page always made me think of this one...

...though, in my mind's eye, they were more similar...

JB, whose idea was it to do the shorter story plus a back-up?
