I would love to know exactly who or what Nemesis is. I know she came back to the book after JB left, but I've never read those issues, and I'd want JB's background on the character, not another writer's. How did she get into the locked room where Northstar was being held?
Oh, and Heather in a tube top? Mmm...

Ryan, I'd love to hear JB's thoughts on Nemesis too. She fascinated when I was reading these as a kid. I loved that her sword cut between molecules.

Nemesis == in the unmasking scene, I asked for her to have white hair.
The previous issue, I'd asked for Danielle to have a "weird" hair color.
Both came out Jimmy Olsen orange.
I love it when the colorist wants to tell a story different from mine!

That's probably why I was so confused and thought Nemesis was the daughter of Raymonde for so many years and thought the girl in the restaurant was an imposter.

Nemesis was cooler than the other side of the pillow. A sword that can cut between molecules? Man, what a great idea for a weapon. Love the costume, too.

Even knowing now that Nemesis was supposed to have white hair, i still don't get her....

I loved Nemesis. I wonder if she had the career she deserved in comics. She was a great character.

Hey Ryan! I'm surprised you left out the last page of the main story, with the twins' breakup and Aurora's reference to his "love life".
That does bring up this point - it sounds like Aurora didn't approve of Jean-Paul's homosexuality. Probably not in the sense of hating gays or for any religious beliefs, but I can see her thinking that sex is something that only a man and woman should share together, just because it's so much fun!
I'm glad that JB clarified on this forum that her Jeanne-Marie persona never knew about it. That was something I wondered about for a long time.
