See angry is red and Hulk is red cause he is angry get it? The madder Hulk gets the redder he gets...
Clever huh? Would have loved to have heard the brainstorming session on this idea....
But knowing the "fans" this will sell through the roof

To Michael Connell--
If Red Hulk isn't Bruce Banner, then who is he?
And where's Banner gonna be?

And I grew up reading (and enjoying) the Barry Allen issues of Flash as a kid. Nothing against those at all. In fact, I loved 'em.
But I've really enjoyed the last several years of the current book (particularly the Geoff Johns run) and just prefer Wally as a character. His goal of trying to live up to Barry's standard makes him a really sympathetic figure.

I don't prefer Ben Reilly to Peter Parker per se.
But if you look at the Spider-Man books at the time, ever since Venom was introduced, the quality dwindled. Carnage, vigilantes like Solo and Cardiac, the return of Peter Parker's parents, Maximum Carnage. Then, the "parents" are revealed to be robots, and Peter goes berserk. We meet new villains like Stunner, Judas Traveller and Kaine. Aunt May and Doctor Octopus die.
And suddenly, we get a clean break. That horrible Scarlet Spider non-costume gets replaced by something modern, yet true to the roots of the character. We get a new supporting cast, a Mysterio costume that doesn't look like Humpty Dumpty fell on somebody's head, and Jessica (the daughter of the burglar that killed Uncle Ben) brought an interesting conflict into the book. Of course, it all went downhill pretty fast. Jessica left the book, Peter and MJ came back, the Hobgoblin turned into a Cyborg, and things got really messy.
Long story short, I don't prefer Ben Reilly to Peter Parker. But I think that those six Jurgens issues were the best Spider-Man issues of the decade from 88 to 98 (not counting miniseries like the brilliant Hobgoblin Lives).

<<<miniseries like the brilliant Hobgoblin Lives>>>
"Brilliant?"
Wow! On behalf of Rog, Ron, and the rest of the gang--thanks, man!

Red Hulk's identity hasn't yet been disclosed (hence the big question mark on that Previews cover). Dr. Banner? Not sure, maybe he'll still be the green Hulk, but the teaser does say "A long time Hulk cast member will be murdered" since Betty & General Ross are already dead, who knows?

I like the stature of Darwyn Cooke's Wonder Woman in NEW FRONTIER.

actually, I heard there was a sale on red ink last month...
And I think the vines are actually badly drawn veins? Well badly drawn is the given, veins is the guess.

Sigh.
<<<since Betty & General Ross are already dead, who knows?>>>
Aren't both Betty and General Ross alive? Bruce Jones restored Betty and to
the best of my knowledge, that story hasn't been debunked. And I seem to
remember seeing the General alive and well not too long ago.

Puny humans always try to hound Hulk hurt Hulk, all Hulk want is to be left alone.
Why can't puny humans with color wheels leave Hulk alone?
