Awesome pic, JB! I think the only other time I recall you drawing Firestorm was in "Legends."

What is a topknot? The fire on his head?
Never got the baggy/puffy sleeves, but Firestorm had one of the best costumes EVER imo. Again JB, thanks for another brilliant take on a favorite character

The current Firestorm is Jason Rusch and Professor Stein.
Great work, JB. I loved your take on the character in LEGENDS.

It's been a while, but did Ronnie have that much air time in Legends?

Nope. Just the first and part of the second issue, IIRC. But he sure looked great!

but there were too many unknowns (the editor, the writer, their take on the character), so I passed.

Sounds like a good decision. I still think DC has no clue what to do with Firestorm.

DC has so many great characters at their disposal that languish because they have no idea what to do with them: Captain Marvel, Firestorm, Plastic Man, Aquaman to name just a few

Very good!
Anyway, I'm not familiar with him, the only stuff which I've read of him were Crisis and Legends.

Neat image, JB. I particularly like the inking on his left leg (the foward thrusted one). I've been working on drawing better legs, and this one is a fine example of how to do it!
