Super looking Cyclops JB. Love the character and how you give him justice everytime you draw him.

I've liked pretty much all of the redesigns that John Cassaday has done for the X-Men.  Even Wolverine's new costume has grown on me.

Okay, I admit JB's take looks good, maybe it's the color that bugs me, it just looks too much like a wetsuit in the comics.

On a practical side, wouldn't a full head mask be uncomfortable? Your hair would be all matted and greasy and it would itch. I always thought the half-head mask to be more practical and comfortable.

If I were a superhero, the half-head mask (ala Kid Flash) would've appealed to me 20 years ago when I had a nice, full head of hair.  Not so much now.  That's purely vanity talking.  If you're really talking practicality, the less of your head that gets seen, the less likely you are to be identified.  Never underestimate the identifying characteristics of your hairstyle:

I know, I know, we're dealing with "universes" where Green Arrow and Robin have no problem concealing their secret identities behind precious little fabric...

As an aside, I love the Kid Flash costume.  Love it.

And I don't like yellow, but it just works.

Me, too.  If I were thin, had a full head of hair, and could run real fast...

Well, I'm thin. That's one out of three.

I am also one out of three but I have tons of hair on my head. I grow it long to piss off the other guys who can't. :)

Thinking along these lines is one of the early warning signs you're too old
for these kinds of stories and characters.
