For me, a Mother Box would be better than Iron Man's armor, and to a lessor extent, Green Lantern's ring.

Of course, Metron's chair would be even better.

I don't recall ever seeing a square Mother Box, and I was unfamiliar with the Forever People's funky cube-shaped Mother Box

Isn't it only funky and cube shaped when the Forever People join all of their individual cassette shaped Mother Boxes together???

Didn't they use a "father box" in the new JLA series?  The DR. Impossible character, that looked like an evil Mr. Miricle refers to one I believe.

I hope someone does more with Dr. Impossible. Liked what I saw.

Kurt's puns weren't that bad.

I'd hate to be evicted from any forum, but to be able to say that I was banned based on my puns would truly be a badge of honor.

With all of the Mr. and Dr. and Professor Impossibles and Fantastics and Incredibles and Terrifics and Miracles... it gets a bit confusing.

Ian Gruffudd has played two of them by the way.

A Motherbox is a device that tunes its owner into the Source.  In Star Wars terms, it would allow any person to tap into the Force as the Jedi are able to.

It was a catch-all device that helped Kirby's characters with heightened reaction times, a type of Spidey-sense, and other cool abilities.  They can also heal, summon Boom Tubes, transfer energy... what the iPhone should be doing in another few years.

And they usually went, "Ping Ping Ping!"

I think that most of the New Genesis folk have to build their own Mother Box.  It's part of the personalization of the device.  Each person having their own version.

Does anyone know if DC has published a profile on Mother Box, featuring a clearly-drawn lineup of different Mother Box models? I'd love to see that depicted for reference.
