just my two-bits -- but that FX3 cover kinda gives away a cool scene from #1 (unless that scene has been revealed elsewhere and I missed it).

Can't imagine what scene you mean. No Spoilers on this cover.

Nope, nothing from the first one is on the cover for three.

An awesome cover!!!  This thing will so have me visiting my (not that great) local comic shop here in Gothenburg and subscribe to the comic once solicited.   And then I still hope I'll be able to get a TPB of it later on... but on who on Earth could wait for, even if it was a sure thing? ;)

....I was just thinking "costume reveal".   But if WO and JB are both good with it....who am I...?

Something like this was all I was thinking...

•••

Someone who goes on and on and on and on and on. . . . . .

Oh, was that a rhetorical question?

I'm really liking this character. It's almost a shame to put him through what I plan to do.

Do all those bookshelves unload on his head like some sort of mousetrap? :>

I like the way the inks and detail still look good in the extreme reduction above.  It’s interesting to compare to that early Byrne FF page posted in the New Art thread.

Pat - I may be misremembering, but didn't we see the costume on the cover with the monster shadows on?
All good stuff at any rate. Want more!
