Most of my "wish list" would be Essentials, Showcases or pipe dreams (A Swamp Thing books with Rick Veitch getting to finish his storyline, A Last Galactus Story with the final chapter, included, etc.). But let's show late 60s DC some love:
Secret Six Bat Lash Angel and the Ape (They're all 7-8 issues so a trade would collect the whole thing.)
To get a little more contemporary, I'd add JM DeMatteis & Mike Zeck's Baron Zemo story (#272(?),275-279) and Claremont & Bill the Sink's Cloak and Dagger story from New Mutants #22-25 to complete my five.

1 New Mutants 17-52 in black and white. That stretch on the title had constantly great art. And add the John J Muth issue as well.
2 Cloack and Dagger Volume 2 in B&W also. I could do without the rest but Volume 2 had Terry Austin (imo) at his peek and all of the artists on it were hot.
3 Longshot in B&W too I guess.
4 Titans: All of the Perez inked by Thangal in B&W
5 Alpha Flight in B&W

Relying on my fuzzy memory:
From late '60's DC, I'd like a TP of the "Virus X" multi-parter from Action (think it was '68 or '69).
From Marvel, although it would make a very skinny one, a TP featuring the two-issue Thor arc drawn by Neal Adams, in which Loki switches bodies with the Thunder God and wreaks havoc in New York. To pad it out, they could include the opening chapter of the three-parter, which was Jack Kirby's last issue.
Steve Ditko's Shade, the Changing Man, including any material completed, but never published.
The complete Canceled Comics Cavalcade, that legendary in-house product of the DC Implosion; both issues of all those abruptly-discontinued or aborted series in one fat volume.
To round out my five, I'll echo the call for JB's Omac, with the 8-page back-ups by Jim Starlin as bonuses.

This got me thinking of the Kaluta Carson of Mars backup stories in some Kubert Tarzan (or Korak, son of Tarzan..?) comic I have. I'm not sure how many Kaluta did, but It's be nice to see them collected - b&w or otherwise.

John, I think you've mashed John Carter of Mars into Carson of Venus, but I agree, I'd love to see them again, along with Alan Weiss's Pelucidar, and Dan Green's Beyond the farthest Star.
I just thought of another slim volume I'd like to see - there was a two-part Legion of Super-Heroes tale by Jim Shooter, Curt Swan, and George Klein, in which the Legion was outlawed and disbanded, with some members imprisoned, and others forced to go underground in the ancient sewers beneath Metropolis.
Oh, hell, I just remembered another one - the Legion two-parter that introduced Mordru the Merciless; my wish-list keeps growing...

Indeed I did. Something in my content seemed off in that original post. Thanks for setting my ERB knowledge straight!

Holy crap - When was this Weiss Pelucidar published?!? I've gotta see that! I adore Weiss's stuff. I've even gone to lengths to scan and share with others one of my favorite childhood experiences with Weiss artwork....the sci-fi chiller, Howl!
Know this one? The rest of the story is in the 'Bucket too...

EDIT: odd, the above link isn't working...sorry.
***Ramona Fradon's PLASTIC MAN***
Gulp...Fradon did Plastic Man? I'm on board for that TPB too!
I'm learning new comic stuff all the time here!

John, Ramona Fradon & Bob Smith provided the art on one of DC's occasional revivals of Plastic Man; I forget whether it was late '70's or early '80's.
Come to think of it, I'd love to see the Gil Kane-drawn (and inked!) '60's Plas revival reprinted, too; the later issues by Jack Sparling, I can take or leave...

I'd Like to see some more of those Marvel Visionaries hardbacks -
Marvel Visionaries: John Byrne Marvel Visionaries: Jim Starlin Marvel Visionaries: George Perez Marvel Visionaries: Gene Colan Marvel Visionaries: Don Heck
And maybe DC could try their own versions
DC Presents: Curt Swan DC Presents: Joe Kubert DC Presents: Carmine Infantino DC Presents: Neal Adams DC Presents: Gil Kane DC Presents: Murphy Anderson

I doubt that any of these would fit in TPB format, but anyway:
1. Amazing Spider-Man by Roger Stern 2. JB's Namor 3. JB's She-Hulk 4. Steve Englehart's Justice League of America 5. Howard Chaykin's American Flagg! #1-12. (Which was supposed to have come out over a year ago. WTF happened?)
