My five, with suggested titles for said TPBs
Daredevil 202-214 -- "The Micah Synn Saga," (written by Denny O'Neil --
awesome!)
Uncanny X-Men 235-238 -- "A Green and Pleasant Land" (the first
Genosha storyline, by Claremont/Leonardi/Silvestri -- X-Men at its
darkest, I love it.)
Incredible Hulk #368-377 -- "MPD" (and I'd buy an extra copy to give to
Matt Reed as a gift -- tee hee!)
Marvel Team-Up 59-70 -- I don't know what you'd call this one. Maybe
"Spider-Man Visionaries: Claremont and Byrne"?
Daredevil 265-276 -- There's one volume already that collects part of the
Nocenti/Romita Jr. Daredevil run. This would be a great "Volume 2"
edition.
Comments on others' lists:
" The Travis Charest pages from WildCATS. Removing all the various fill in
pages would make the story completely incomprehensible, but what a
pretty book it would be." -- ****This is brilliant!*****
" The Beast's solo adventures from Amazing Adventures 11-17 and Hulk
161 which finishes the story." ****I would buy this.*****

The first arc from Alan Davis's second EXCALIBUR run (though I'd like to see all of that collected into one or two volumes).
Alan Davis's BATMAN & THE OUTSIDERS would be great to have in one book.
Also, JB's & JR Jr.'s IRON MAN.

Without a doubt, trades collecting the Jim Aparo run on Brave & the Bold.

1) Excalibur #42-50, wherein Alan Davis tied together the loose ends of the past and told a ripping yarn. 2) Fantastic Four #242-244, 257, 261-262, and The Last Galactus Story from Epic Illustrated. Cosmic stories often leave me disappointed, but this stuff from JB is gold. 3) Avengers #158-162, 164-166. George Perez and JB drawing the Avengers against Graviton, Ultron, and Nefaria. 4) Someone already beat me to a Byrne Visionaries of Marvel Team-Up covering #59-70. To this day, I don't think I have ever seen issues 61-62 and 65-66. 5) Wonder Woman #109-112. Wonder Woman vs The Flash, Sinestro, and *gasp* Doomsday? This story made me feel 20 years younger.

1) I'd like to see this run collected too.
2) Some old Green Lanthern Corps stories would be cool too (I only have back-up stories by Alan Moore)
3) Some Marvel Comic Presents stories
4) A trade to continue the Griffen/DeMatteis era after "In the Beginning"
5) The recent Dial H for Hero comics

Ok I'll play!
I'd like: Kirby's The Demon (preferrably in Archives format to match the two Kamandi volumes) Kirby's Omac (because I'm really curious) JB's Omac (because what I've seen of it looks gorgeous and would be fine to have in some deluxe edition) Generations III (because it's about time!) Avengers – Under Siege (because this TPB's been out of print annoyingly long)
And... I'd like to add that I'd really LOVE to see a TPB or two collecting JB's Jack Kirby's Fourth World (or why not even one fat HC to match the Kirby Omnibuses). The only reason I didn't include it in the list above is that I don't know if that many issues would be to stretch Matt's rules too much (since we weren't supposed to go for full runs, but as far as I've understood JB's Fourth Wolrd stuff was an epic storyline, right? So...) Anyway, if it's admissable I'll gladly wait a bit further on the Avengers TPB if I can have that one. :)

I should mention here that Forum member Flavio Sapha sent me the first of a two volume trade collection of G3 from Brazil. A very nice package, on matt finish paper. The blacks grey out a bit here and there, but the colors are much more vibrant. Fun to see the chapters bound together like that. Only downside -- I don't read Portugese!!

I hear it's one of the easier languages to learn.
EDIT: A new book idea: LEARN PORTUGUESE THROUGH JOHN BYRNE TRADE PAPERBACKS
