All-time dream match for me - Superman VS The Sinister Six.
Some good ideas here, folks. I like these kinds of topics, I hope to do one for Batman, Spider-Man, Captain America, Iron Man and The Hulk at some point.

Speaking of Superman and magic, I'm pretty confused by his
vulnerability to it at this point. Captain Marvel (Shazam) is magically
powered isn't he? So, if he hit's Superman would it be like a normal
person getting hit by CM? --- If Captain Marvel is a being of magic, that's how it should work, but confrontations between the two haven't been portrayed that way in the past. There's no way DC would allow Cap to have such an advantage over Superman.

I like it. Of course, it would have to be a totally different story (and Superman would, of course, still be just a wee bairn), but still a great idea.

It's been a while since I read it, but I think that if I remember correctly that story was done in Superman/Fantastic Four. Galactus had somehow crossed into the DC universe and destroyed Krypton years before.

Captain Marvel is magically endowed with the strength of Hercules, but I
don't think there is anything magical about his punches or other expressions
of strength, so Superman shouldn't be especially vulnerable.

Superman vs. The Super Skrull would be a lot of fun.

Why should it? The magic that powers CM doesn't give him the magical ability to cause damage, otherwise every villain he punched would suffer that fate.

Superman/Silver Surfer sort of had this matchup, though it was revealed in the end that it wasn't the real Super Skrull - it was really just the Impossible Man. A real version of the fight would definitely be fun.

Superman vs Lady Death
Superman vs Magnus Robot Fighter
Superman vs Marvel Zombies. Him trapped in that world. Man of Steel in survival horror.

This really should be another topic, but I have always wondered about one thing - do both DC and Marvel have a policy regarding supervillains being 'loaned' to other books.
I know there has been much "villain trading" over times. But I wonder if there is a policy about it. If, for example, a current Superman writer wanted to use Mr. Freeze in a Superman story, would it just be a case of him asking the editor of the Batman titles or would he have to go through some procedure in order to gain use of the character? Is it easy for someone to just say: "Hey, can I borrow Juggernaut for my latest Fantastic Four story?" Or is the procedure (if there is a procedure) a bit more complicated than that?
Just something I've always wondered. It's a rhetorical question, I guess.
