Lloyd strikes again! Another nice page! Love Dillin, he's an artist I liked as a kid, but grew to appreciate more and more as I grew older.

Hey guys, I'm pretty computer illiterate. To the point that I often forget what I've learned within weeks... ugh. Anyways, I picked up a double splash at NYCC 2011 and have the individual pages scanned. How do I patch/connect them together? Do I need a special program? Is there an online site (i.e. online image converter that transfers bmps to jpgs, etc)? Thanks in advance for any guidance you can give.... I'll have pages from the show up soon.

I vote that Lloyd's title for the boards changes from "Byrne Robotics Member" to "That Magnificent Art Bastage". Yet another beautiful page for an already impressive collection. Lloyd owns so much of my envy.

Here are the first few pieces from my NYCC 2011 haul. As always, I count myself fortunate in obtaining the artwork that I did. First up, are sketches.... Agnes Garbowska is a fun artist that I commissioned last year for a Super Hero Secret Wars #1 cover reimagining in her style. This year, I asked for Spidey and GG in a playground environment, complete with goblin glider. Below is what she turned out.

Robin Riggs is a true gentleman and I've enjoyed many chats with him over the years. This year, I asked him for a Wolverine sketch..

This was the first time I had the pleasure of meeting Pablo Marcos, though his Zombie stuff scared the hell out of me as a kid and this Conan sketch displays his incredible skills...

Pablo Marcos' Zombie comic brought many shivers to my childhood. Creepy beyond belief, his artwork is burned into my memory. I was thrilled when I met him at NYCC 2011 and saw this piece for sale. I snatched it up quickly.

Not reading the current X stuff, but when I experienced Jackson Herbert's artistic skills up close, I asked him to take one of his blank sketch covers and depict a Spider-Man/Wolverine meet-up. Though currently signed to an exclusive 2 year contract with Dynamic, expect to see him on big books in the future.... stunning.

Man, I lucked into meeting Jack Herbert at NYCC 2011 and immediately knew that he was the artist to start off my Wolverine Jam piece. Since artist extrodinaire Eddy Barrows is his buddy and another member of the contingency of Brazilian artists who have recently been attending shows together, he was next up to add a villian to the piece. His choice explodes off of the page!
