James you must really be disappointed since that piece came out so....AWESOME! Congratulations on that one! Interesting use of color. I love the pose, textures and especially the kitty!

Yeah, it's always a bit nerve-wracking to get a commission from an artist for the first time because you never know how it's going to turn out, but this one far exceeded my expectations. The other cool thing was the Darwyn sent along a head sketch of a gorgeous woman. I'm not sure if that was a bonus from the Hero Initiative or what, but I was very pleased. (I would post it here, but I'm not sure I can handle any more hate....)

Excellent acquisition there, Lloyd! I have fond memories of that story as well!

Not a problem James. I'm a little "green" myself looking at that Black Cat. Very nice. Darwyn Cooke really has a way with a pencil ;)
