Jimmie::Galactus by George Perez!! Was it a commission or a raffle prize or a luck of the draw?

I bought it from a CAF member that had decided to let it go. So I guess you can call it luck of the draw!

I love the "Moebius" on the Matt Feazell drawing!

Just took a break from work to pick this up from the post office. My first piece of EC art. Graham Ingels Haunt of Fear #6 P. 7. A page full of reanimated corpses!

Oh my god.
Ingels work is so potent-- the man that launched a thousand nightmares.

I LOVE that page. Classic last panel image. Congratulations!

Thanks, Mark. But, don't you mean, "Good Lord!"?

In my quest for comic art, I have only a handful of grail pages that aren't Marvel.  Among them are:

Johnny Craig - EC horror
Graham Ingels - EC horror
Wally Wood - EC Sci Fi
Jack Davis - EC horror
Al Feldstein - EC horror or sci-fi

Now I've managed to get #2 on my list! The ONLY thing that would have made the page sweeter is a panel with the Old Witch!

Yeah, that's right -- "Good Lord! *choke* Those men are walking... But they're dead! They're dead!!!"

Heh-Heh-Heh...

I love EC comics.

I've never held an original page and I've wondered: how is the lettering attached?

Not actually "attached," per se. It was lettered directly on the art board. And unlike most comics, EC's were lettered before they were drawn!

The Matt Feazell "fake out" autograph is too funny!  He's really fun.  Cynical Man is a hoot.
