Thanks, Paul!I'm not that familiar with him either, but I love that this page is fully inked rather than filled in by computer.

Vader voice: Impressive! Jackpot, Martin! Not only do you have the Avengers, the FF, and SHIELD's Behemoth Heli-carrier, but the Big-G himself!

Thanks for all the comments, guys! I've been a Godzilla fan all my life, and I find there's more to like about Marvel's take on the big guy than most fans give it credit for.

Martin, I liked parts of both Marvel & Dark Horse's adaptations of the Big-G: Marvel using SHIELD as giant monster hunters (wouldn't be surprised if the iterations of Toho's G-Force were inspired by this) and Dark Horse's use of the Heisei Godzilla design. The jury is still out with regards to IDW's adaptation (first issue did not impress, especially compared to art in the Dark Horse version).

I don't want to hijack the art thread with this, but I will say that IDW's Godzilla #1 was utter garbage. Hopefully, though it will pull out of its nose dive, since I want to see lots of future issues from other creative teams, especially featuring all those other Toho creations.
And, when that happens, I wanna buy lots of those art pages!
