Hey Brian, was Phil Jimenez taking a list or was he doing a raffle like Perez?

Either way, sweet Alan Scott!

I've been trying to get a Dave Gibbons commission for some time. I've found old art reps and other dead ends. Finally I found his current art rep and have been working towards getting a commission for over a year now. This is not to be considered any type of complaint. Just the process of working with an extremely helpful art rep and an artist that doesn't normally take commissions. His art rep has been very patient with me and we had a chance to actually meet at the Emerald City Comic Con while he was delivering some art to the US.

Two weeks ago I was sent a prelim scan and this week I was sent the pencils scan. Hopefully, I will get the finished scan very soon.

Here is the prelim scan. I'll post the pencils when I get the finished scan. Then post the finished piece when I have it in my possession. Dave is my favorite Green Lantern artist of all time. Yes I put him above Gil Kane and Neal Adams. I can't tell you how thrilled I am that Dave is doing this for me.

Congrats, Paul! I met Dave in 2003 and he did a sketch for me. One of my top five favorite artists and and a true gentleman.

on behalf of Fred, when Paul gets the final, don't comment on it...

We have a new feature here, called "Snub The Grail".

Wow, you sound just like the practical side of my brain.

you know, the part that pays the mortgage and keeps me up late at night wondering how I'll make a 40-year career out of tracing SpongeBob...
