Cool pick ups Brian! Unfortunately, Pittsburgh's crowds have been getting smaller and smaller over the years... to the point that I didn't set up there this year (for the first time in many many years...). Just not enough traffic to justify the increased table and hotel costs.Maybe it's due to having the same guests every year?
I do miss saying "howdy" to Ron Frenz and Pat Olliffe.. If you have a second, tell them Dave Aikins sez "Hey"!

Hmm. Pittsburgh, eh? I'm looking to add a 2nd comic con and I have relatives nearby that would enjoy a visit. I am in Atlanta and go to HeroesCon in Charlotte. Dragon*Con while fun isn't really a "comic-con" and the artists alley isn't all that great.

I tells ya, Joe (both of you)- many of the guests at the Pittsburgh show have saturated the area. So.. new attendees have no problem getting the sketches they want. Heck, if there were more new folks going to the show, it wouldn't be as slow!

I get something from Ron Frenz every time I see him and expect to continue that tradition for as long as possible! Great Perez, of course, too!
Sad I missed Pittsburgh this year, it's a great show to clean up on sketches (due mostly to Dave's correct analysis of its dwindling fan base.)
