awesome bill! congrats! i am so shocked that he only got to do 2. how does anyone even find out if they were lucky enough to get one? i wish i could join this club :) but adam did look really tired. i hope he is ok.

Again, thanks guys!

Charlie, I had to double-check with Allison to make sure that Aurora was mine... There was a "Princess Aurora" on the list, which caused some confusion with Adam (it turned out to be a "Princess Aura" from FLASH GORDON instead).   Adam did look a lot better on Sunday, since Allison told me he no longer was stressing-out about trying to do the commission list, and could concentrate on the donation head-sketches.

It does make me wonder what happens when there are multiple requests for the same character on Adam's list...

Bill, congrats on the Hughes. Hopefully one day I'll be lucky enough to score a Hughes. I will be envious of yours until that day comes.

I haven't checked in all week, so I've had fun this morning checking out all the great artwork posted over the past few days.  That Aurora sketch by Adam Hughes is fantastic!  I don't think I've ever seen a sketch of that character by him. That Gene Gonzales Black Cat is also fantastic!

Oddly, I don't see any of JB in that World of Smallville cover.

Odd in that it comes from Jim W, who is unimpeachable and as good as getting it from JB hisself, and there isn't a credited inker to maybe change the look.

According to comicbookdb.com Alfredo Alcala inked that WORLD OF SMALLVILLE cover.  Someday I need a JB cover....(grumbles under his breath about Greer beating him to everything...)

Andrew, Joe is correct. The cover is inked by Alcala. The margin notes have JB instructing him to finish the photographs with grease pencil. I think this cover looks a JB cover. The only thing I think looks more Alcala on Superman is the hair.
