Paul, that is a great Epting. After trying for years at Heroes Con I was able to get a head sketch last year, so I am very impressed at your success. I like the lettering too. Congrats!

"I was with Paul when he picked up that Black Knigh...it has a very Prince Valiant feel to it"

Prince Valiant is exactly what I thought of too! Cool.

Checking in after a number of busy travel weeks followed by Spring Break with my family. Great to see some of the recent posts here and I'm amazed by that Black Knight piece by Steve Epting! I was very pleased to get a package in the mail from the UK this week with the Marvel Women: Celebrating Seven Decades cover art that I bought at during Alan Davis' recent art sale. Here's a small scan and you can check it out in larger size at Kraalo.com.

That Alan Davis piece is breathtaking! Thanks for all the compliments. Sometimes I live in an original art bubble. I show this stuff to my wife and all she cares about is how much it cost. Which is $20 for everything in case she asks. It is nice to share it with other fans. I know it is the fine line of bragging when putting this stuff up here or on CAF, but I really do it because I love seeing other peoples collections and sharing mine. I do appreciate the compliments. Brad, I'm sorry I didn't answer your scanner question earlier. I have a Brother all in one (scanner/fax/printer/copier). The model number is MFC-6890CDW. It scans up to 11x17 and it works wonderfully. It is not that expensive overall.

James, that is a great piece. I love the layout of the characters, with Sue in front, Jean/Phoenix handling background, and MJ/Gwen right at the center/heart of the pic. It is nearly perfect. (To be perfect it would have to have been mailed to my mailbox).

LOL...You hate me? Wait until my wife finds out that it didn't actually cost $20! I'll have to blame Paul Greer for giving me that idea.....

Paul, I can't wait to show up at your house with a stack of $20's!
Should I wait until your dead, or just in Vegas?
"I'm sorry for your loss.... Here's $20, $40, $80..."
Don't think that you wouldn't do the same thing to me.... "So sorry Dave's dead. How much for everything in the basement?
Minus his own art, of course..."
Nice one James!

Thought I'd share the couple pieces I got at C2E2. First, the Super Pets by Art Baltazar. (Yes, I'm aware of the misspelling. So was he, but it was late and the day and it was an honest mistake. No biggie.)
