I went to the C2E2 con just so I could pick something up from Ivan Reis. As I posted earlier I found a really nice prelim by him. I was also fortunate enough to get two sketches by him. This one was a happy accident. I was trying to get a head shot for a buddy of mine and he thought I said Hal instead of Hulk. So he did this instead. I bought this one and he did do a Hulk for my buddy. Then I had Ivan's colorist Rod Reis add some color. I really think the finished piece pops. Done on an 11x17 board.
I love getting sketches of Star Sapphire. Now I usually go with the original Gil Kane design. However, Ivan was the person who designed the current outfit and I went with that look for this piece.

Thanks, Ryan. Steve did an incredible job on that piece. The lettering makes it even cooler.

I was with Paul when he picked up that Black Knight and let me tell you, Steve Epting jumped up to one of my favorites! He really did a fabulous job with this commission! To me it has a very Prince Valiant feel to it, really a lovely commission. My first thought was that Paul should get a Shining Knight, an old DC knight, just reversed, kind of a mirror look.
It's really nice, can't wait to see it framed. I bet it'd look great. Can you tell l liked it?

Guys, I won a couple of Sal Buscema pages a couple months ago on Ebay and they still haven't arrived. The seller says he sent them via USPS priority mail international, but that doesn't provide a tracking number. He claims that the package is stuck at customs. Anyone had any such experience? How do I search for that? Thanks is advance.

Thanos- The good news is that ebay makes it so it's the SELLER'S responsibility to get you your package. So, you have a certain amount of time after you paid (through Paypal) to make a claim (45 days?).
Research ebay's BUYER PROTECTION info for international purchases. See what it says. Then be patient and give the seller up until the time the ebay Buyer protection policy expires. Then, if you haven't gotten your art, make a claim with ebay.
If it has already expired, then I'm sorry, but you waited too long...
