I enjoyed Pelletier's work on War of Kings a few years ago.

The two pieces from Anthony Castrillo arrived today.  They look even better in person.

Ha! Not so new!  I remember when he was working for some small publisher back in 1990, and labelled a break-out artist. He was soon (within a year? two?) working on Green Lantern and such.

Yeah, I wondered.  The "War Of Kings" series is where I first took notice.  I'll have to start looking for his older work.

I like it Paul. I'd love to get one of her Power Girls one day. Maybe fighting the Composite Superman.

Well Brad, you could always ask for a Composite Power Girl / Bat Girl next time...

No, wait... That... Wouldn't work very well...

And that is a great Amanda Connor Power Girl, Paul!

Pity that the two times I got to see her at past cons , she wasn't doing any sketches.

That's not a bad idea Bill. I'll have to give it some thought.

technically, it would have to be a composite Power Girl- Huntress... :)

Like Bill suggested, just make sure the boobs match.

From what I remember in Baltimore, she had a batch of pre-done work. I'm not sure if she was doing any other sketching over the weekend there...

Amanda Connor did have some nice prints for sale at the two cons I saw her at...  And I did get to find out why she was leaving PG as well.

A pre-done Power Girl would be cool. I think you're right Dave, Composite Power Girl w/Huntress is a perfect idea. Everything might match up better too.

From listening to her on Jimmy Palmiotti's podcast, I thought she left because she was tired from doing a monthly book. I respected the fact that she realised she couldn't do a monthly and decided not to. I wish other artists would follow her example.

^ Yup, fatigue and lack of sleep was the reasons she gave me.
