The finished Marvel Team-Up 68 reimagining by Bob Wiacek (along with the two "in progress" pieces he sent me along with way and the finished but uninked pencils for comparison).  Dream come true to now have a version of this cover by the original cover penciler (Byrne), cover inker (Rubinstein) and interior inker (Wiacek)!

Sweet Joe! but man, the mind boggles as to why Bob needed to do soooo many versions/steps of this before inking it. Especially for the price he quoted you...
Still, who cares! The results are great!

Now, can you call Uncle Russ for me?

oh, and that's a beaut, Fred. I might have to gets me one a' them...

One more by Anthony Castrillo (I'd asked for his take on a pulp science fiction cover, ala the old Planet Stories and Startling Stories).

Joe, that is an amazing piece.  Is the logo and header pasted or photocopied to the board?

Trevor, love the cover!  Anthony Castrillo is such a talent.

Okay, some art I picked up at Emerald City Comic Con 2011. I blame Paul Greer for this new obsession. Rat bastard!!

Okay, I've always loved Hot Stuff and as soon as I saw it I had to have it. It's drawn by Dan Parent and he did a great job. It's a photo, I don't have a big enough scanner yet.

Here's a sketch by Mike McKone. I asked him for a Composite Superman. He hadn't been asked for that before, but he did a great job! I'd like to say the man impressed me with his professionalism and fan friendly demeanor. Fun guy.

Here's our own Forum member and pro Steve Lieber. Great guy and fun to hang with. It was fun to watch him sketch while I waited. I asked him for the Composite Superman too. Steve came through too. Thanks! Great job!
