After screwing up at last year's Wondercon by forgetting to bring Aurora reference (had to go with GURREN LAGANN's Yoko Littener instead), Chris got a lot of Jeanne-Marie images to work from today... ;-)

Sounds familiar... ;-P Todd told me today that he's been on a Byrne-buying binge as of late... Hunted down all the JB Alpha Flights, FF, She-Hulks, etc., since JB was a big influence on him while growing up. I let him choose between a few commission subjects (including Yoko) and he picked Aurora right off the bat.

That's a great Aurora -- Nauck delivers as usual.

Very nice, Bill! Todd (and Dawn) are extremely nice. Was glad I got to see them again at last year's Mid-Ohio (had a nice dinner with them as well good times).

Yes, they certainly are, Jason! Thanks! From Day Two of ECCC 2011:
Todd Nauck - Leader Desslok Not to steal their thunder, but Brad Brickley and Paul Greer got some great stuff!

Watch out Jon! Fred will be stalking you for that piece any day now! I see him peeking in my windows trying to figure out how to get my Hardman piece! =P

^ I guess that explains why I got this "someone is walking over my grave" feeling everytime I went near Hardman... @_@;;;; Picked up two art books by Sean "Cheeks" Galloway, and they each came with a head-sketch of my choice... Wasn't expecting that, so got a bit flummoxed about what to choose (it was near the end of the con, so my brain was a bit muddled):
From the top going clock-wise: Ariel from THUNDARR, Aurora on my con sketchbook, and Yoko from GURREN LAGANN. Will post better scans later.

Al- just to fill you in, Fred is a Hardman stalker...
He was being silly. He knows what Hardman draws before Hardman even draws it. He's inside Hardman's head, man.
Silly silly Fred.

Really nice Dr. Who Piece. Someday I'll actually have to sit down and watch that show.

In all seriousness, you've scored a stunning piece. That Dr. Who artwork is beautiful from the perspective to the detailed linework. Very fun Nauck piece as well. That guy's work always leaves me smiling.
