I'm just hoping that there's room on the wall so I can put it up next to my JB Doom Patrol.

Great ROM!! Walter Simonson is great. Wish he'd do commissions.

I remember JB saying once that he'd talked to Simonson about the idea of commissions and Walt's response was something along the lines of "Can't. I'm old and tired and busy."

I really enjoy looking at Walt's art and can gaze at it for hours. It facinates me. I wouldn't call myself a "fan", though I enjoy seeing it.... does that fact make me weird, or is it simply all the other stuff that makes me weird?

I love Mike Grell's Jon Sable, and I am thrilled by this penciled commission. http://imgboot.com/images/bchrys/jsmc.jpg

and, of course, 5 seconds after I posted it this shows up in my inbox - from everyone's favorite former leggy supermodel, Gerry Turnbill (and note the issue number).

I'm totally in love with that piece. If you ever for whatever reason need to sadly part with it, let me know.
Although I remember the charity auction (heck I remember all the ones Walt has donated to) and the end price tends to happily be out of my price range...
