That GL is awesome Paul!  (I seem to be typing that phrase a lot)

Kitson sketches are always worth the wait.

Seriously Ari?  With all your art I just assumed you'd been to some cons.  They're fun but hard on your feet. ;)

I've never been to one.  Between my proffessional responsibilities and my home life, thre just never seems to be time.  And the twins have no grounded me for at least 6 months.  Stil, I've been VERY lucky to have such amazing friends on this board pick up art for me at the cons, so again many MANY thanks to those of you who make me feel like I'm actually there and pick me up some damn fine art!  I owe ya all

Love the Mr. Miracle Paul.

One of my favourite characters. Have never gotten a sketch of him though (imagining a coloured Pacheco sketch...)

Cool pieces one and all!

Ari - Michael Golden drew a short run on Mister Miracle back in the 70s. I believe they were written by Steve Gerber.

>>Paul and I were lingering around Trimpe's booth he told us how he was
baffled when he turned over a penciled commission to a fan who
immediately wondered aloud, "I wonder who I can get to ink this?!?!"

That would have been me only a week prior at the Big Apple Con when I picked up the Hulk/Wolverine piece that I posted in this thread already. I was chatting with him as he did a cool Cap sketch for me and mentioned that I was contemplating having the Hulk/Wolerine piece inked by one of the guys who had inked over Herb back in those days. Had I any idea that he would have found offense in this, I wouldn't have mentioned it. Bad form on my part, I guess. *Is there a comic con etiquette book out there? Even if there was, I would have suspected bigger and more blatant faus pas being put in it, but had no idea that I was a transgressor* )As it is, I decided not to pursue the inking.

Sorry, that I didn't specify what VS was exactly. It is the card game that DC and Marvel have in the comic stores. Never got into it for the gaming perposes, but mainly for some of the nicely done artwork......Brian Morris

One last Nowlan piece I want to share, this one was a commision I had contracted him for. It was done 2 years ago. It is of the Batman in Detective 27 style costume with Robin and the original look for Alfred Beagle.....This is the prelim and then I will post the final version of the piece...
