It's funny you mention that. What drew me to Scioli's early work is how much he tried to draw like Kirby. Everything was big and bulky. With the last two issues of his book and in my Darkseid piece he has been trying out different styles and inking techinques to not be considered a Kirby clone. His characters have seemed to gotten skinnier in the process.

After years of not being able to get a con sketch from Chris Sprouse, I achieved success. Here is another Star Sapphire.

LOL.  True.  Really wish I'd have gone to the con, but a friend did manage to hook me up with a few pieces

I'll play the devil's advocate. Stop holding out on us, Ari. Let's see those sketches. :-)

I kept hanging out at Herb Trimpe's table every chance I could get. It was a pleasure to talk with him and his wife.

I think Paul's Leader is great!  I chickened out on getting anything from Trimpe*, despite Paul's best efforts to part me from my money.   I was THIS close, THIS close to buying an AWESOME Snake Eyes (GI JOE) full figure drawing from him.  THIS close I tell you!!!

*I probably wouldn't have had enough money to pay the parking garage attendant if I had bought the Snake Eyes....
