Awesome JL G-L Captain Marvel piece!  Inked by Giordano too?  Nice.  That image of the good Captain was used on the SUPER POWERS toy figure from the 80s.

Thanks, JPB.
Madsen's comic Valhalla about the Norse gods is a very fun read, which sadly so far as I know is not available in English.  There was an animated feature made quite a while back that did, I believe enter the English language market, but I'm not at all sure as how wide an audience it reached or it's availability on the US or UK market.  The film is a good watch, but the comic is absolutely amazing, if you ever do happen to stumble across it.  In some senses it brings comics like Asterix to mind, yet it's still something slightly different.  And Madsen has been a very nice guy on every occasion I've met him (which would be the four instances above + 1).

I've got it from Heritage about two years ago.  I have more Garcia-Lopez art in my CAF gallery:

BATMAN

The New Teen Titans #7 pg.22

NEW TEEN TITANS

TALES of the TEEN TITANS #78 cover

plus I have three more pages that are not in my gallery.

All awesome drawings.  My favorite has to be the Batman pin-up.

Nice Layton piece.  Jealous as I've been waiting over a year for my commissioned pieces.  Guess I'll have to fire off an email, lol.

I just received JB's cover art to the "Star Trek Assignment Earth" trade
paperback. I've been saving my simoleons for a JB commission, but then
JB had to go ahead and produce some of the most engaging and brilliant
work and I had to go down the published artwork road again. I love this
series and having this cover art is very exciting for me. All of JB's "Star
Trek" books have been the crown jewel and guaranteed good time in the
current influx of "Star Trek" material in the media what with the new
movie.

After meeting Gary, Roberta, and Isis, it's breathtaking to open the
package and see the original art. I don't know what it is about original
art, but each time I have received JB art, it's really been something.
Fantastic work, JB.

Pictures to follow as I have a Devious Plan for the framing.

I also want to let everyone know what a pleasure it is to deal with Jim
Warden, who sells JB's original art. This is my fifth JB page of original
published art (my first cover) and each time has been easy and enjoyable
experience. Check out the DOA thread on this very forum for all the links
and updates to JB's art. Owning a page from a book you love is an
amazing thing and Jim can help you get there!
