I think on Spencer's site you can get some pre-done "commissions" from George that look pretty nice as I recall.

Don't get me wrong, Jason. I've gotten pieces from George in the past. I'm just greedy.

I've been lucky, I got a full body sketch from George (back when it was still possible to just walk up at the beginning of the con and ask for it) and I've won his sketch lottery the past two times I've seen him.

Still, I couldn't pass up another chance to get something else from him when I saw the opportunity.  And I very well may be in the lottery crowd again come Heroes Con in June!

I was able to score two full-body shots from George a few years back in Detroit. I've yet to have any luck with the lottery system. But that won't stop me from trying it again in Chicago this August.

Then I guess I shouldn't mention that I also got this from George?

And the awesomeness just keeps on coming ...

While I was writing that last bit I got an e-mail from our very own Thanos.

After he did such a great job with the OHOTMU villains piece he did for me I asked him to do a DC villain one.  Might not be as cool as the last one to some.  My fav DC villains aren't the big ones.  Love that Black Adam, and Ultra-Humanite, and Chemo, and ...

It's odd, yes.  One of the things from the first run of New Warriors I always liked was their Forever Yesterday storyline. Okay, maybe the storyline wasn't -that- good but it did introduce a whole bunch of cool looking alternate Middle Eastern versions of the main Marvel heroes as well as a female version of the Sphinx.  I'd had a note that I'd wanted to see the Egyptian version of the FF take on the female Sphinx and when I saw Thanos's work I knew I wanted to have him draw it.  If I had the money he'd be working for me full time.  Kinda like Dave was saying about Frenz and Davis.

Kudo's Bill.  I recognize Scarlet Scorpion but not the archer character.  Who's he?  I know the symbol on the pouch should be the tip off but I'm blanking here.
