It must just be that I grew up with Aparo and Buckler as my favorites, but I think this page is fantastic... It does everything that a reader should have in front of him to lead him through the story. great to see.
Best, W. McMahon

DC Comics Presents #55, pg 7
Pencils by Alex Saviuk, inks by Pablo Marcos
Superboy meets the original Air Wave! I really like the idea of Superboy meeting the few other costumed heroes operating during his time. If memory serves, Superboy is 14 years old in this part of the story.

I'm behind in posting new art. Here's some new stuff.
A prelim for a pulp hero's group shot / cover with the big guys, Doc, the Shadow, the Phantom and Tarzan.
My Frenz was also recently finished. More OHOTMU goodness : )
And a Perez. Yes, I was able to get a Perez. I think it might go on my wall near one of the JB's.

Kevin, I bow to the greatness that is your Ron Frenz piece. The Perez Ultron is amazing as well.
Llyod, I dig the Superboy/Air Wave page. I'm a sucker for any character named Hal Jordan. Or in this case the father of Hal Jordan, since this is the original Air Wave.

Kevin,
LOVE the Frenz piece!!! Can you identify the characters for me? Right to left: OMAC, Etrigan.....then I'm lost! It begs for a continuation!
I think that Ultron is my favorite drawing I've ever seen Perez do.

Joe, top
to bottom, left to right: Silver Star (from PC Comics), the Sandman (Kirby's forgotten DC character), Ben Boxer (from Kamandi), Captain
Victory (again from PC Comics), the Demon and OMAC. Plus I should give Ron a little praise here. He actually did the Kirby logo for free.
I also discussed doing a similar piece with Ron (well, with Ron's agent, Scott) that'd be Ditko-themed. We'll have to see how the finances turn out for that : )

Great stuff!
Ron's gonna be at the Detroit con in May. I highly recommend pulling up a chair and watching him draw for 3 days. Oh sure, he'll throw things at you , but you'll still get to see some fantastic drawings done at a seemingly inhuman speed (no growing roses goin on here)...
Ron an artist (like Guy Davis) that I'd love to hire for a day and just make him draw random weird characters.
Now draw Brother Blood! Now draw Torpedo! Now draw the golden age Vision! Now draw Marvel Boy!
that would be a fun day...
Great Perez! I can't wait to get mine...

Stunning Ron Frenz commission, Kevin.
Love the Ultron by Perez. Always looked forward to his appearance against the Avengers by GP.
