Pretty big update today, guys and gals.  Here we go:

Spider-Man: Lifelines #3, pg 10

Pencils and inks by Steve Rude

The Lizard is my favorite Spider-Man villain, bar none, and I really like Rude's take on him--especially his movements.

Peter Parker, the Spectacular Spider-Man #73, pg 11

Pencils by Al Milgrom, inks by Jim Mooney

Spider-Man in action, taking out the villainous Boomerang and restoring order to the court--and getting his usual thanks!  Great page representative of the era.

Superman's Girlfriend Lois Lane #112, pg 15

Pencils by Werner Roth, inks by Vince Colletta--with heads by Murphy Anderson

Trippy page. I love how 'real' Anderson always made Superman seem.

Superman Book and Record pg 6

Pencils by Rich Buckler, inks by Dick Giordano

Great splash of Jor-El--I love the detail on the cape clasp.

Superman Book and Record pg 9

Pencils by Rich Buckler, inks by Dick Giordano

As iconic as it gets: the origin of Superman!

Superman Book and Record pg 20

Pencils by Rich Buckler, inks by Dick Giordano

And it ends with a wink--as it shouldI loved this book and record set as a kid (early to mid-Seventies) and can still hear the voice of Superman from it.  Classic.

Coming soon: the Defenders! the JLA!
