I was actually waiting in line to meet Todd Nauck when Sadowski was working on that Batman. It's pretty cool seeing the final product, especially since he was not done with it at the time. I kind of saw the evolution of the drawing, so to speak. Sadowski is indeed a very nice guy.

I bought wayyyy more than I had expected to at the NYCC, though I am thrilled with what I bought in both original art pages and sketches. First up is one of the most endearing pieces that I've purchased and it will go to my 5 year old nephew, who I am hoping will be inspired enough by Liam "The Kid" 's sketch of Spider-Man to begin drawing him on his own. Liam is a 7 year old critic who regularly posts blogs online and is the son of our own Andrew G.:

Sebastion----Nice SpiderMan pieces. I see Alex Saviuk at the Big Apple shows every year and am slowly having him do all the heroes from the Seven Soldiers of Victory. My nephew just sent me the scan of the Perez raffle headshot of Speedy. My happiest moment of the con was having him meet me on friday by the Perez table at Hero Initiative and opening up my portfolio to show him the Hal Jordan and Guy Gardner pieces, that I got from Spencer's table and having him choose which Green Lantern piece he wanted for his birthday, since he is a big Green Lantern and Teen Titans fan. It was priceless. I hope all who were at the show had a great time like my nephew and I did. By the way was anyone else at George's table on saturday when the pulled the raffle?
