The double page splash looks great Joe. You could spend all day looking at the detail.

****
Thanks to Paul and others for the complements on my latest edition. This morning I sat and stared at the details while I drank my coffee. It will look great framed on my wall someday (the two-page spread, not my coffee). Anyway, I've uploaded the full size digital photo to my CAF Gallery (link in my sig line). It's not as nice to look at as a scan but you can see lots more detail.
Oh by the way....when I was uploading this to CAF, I noticed you have the option of labeling your piece a "double-page splash" or a "two page spread." What's the difference? I called this a double-page splash...was that correct?

Splash I think is a one panel page (or double page).

To follow up on Joe's initial query then, would a two page spread be two pages with (at least partly) overlapping art but more than one panel? Say a row of four panels at the top and one giant panel stretching over the two pages on the bottom two thirds or so.

David, I don't know the artist, but I do like your latest Black Widow. In answer to your question, the Perez piece is 9x12. Here is a nicer scan in my CAF gallery.

Mr. Greer, he worked on the Maze Agency, Ace of Diamonds and Amazon among some other indy titles, he did do a nice job on the Widow.
Dave.

hey, I've got a question. I'm guessing this is the right place for it (I certainly couldn't bring myself to start a whole thread). I've got an idea for a commission but I can't think of who I'd like to draw it. The idea is some of those giant Japanese robots kicking the snot out of each other. Anybody know of any good available giant robot artists? thanks

Bill, What made you pick those particular characters?
I like the Hall of justice in the background.

I gave the artist a list of characters and those are the ones he picked from the list!
