Are you even trying to put the slightest effort into not being an asshole here
Dan? Because if you are, you're failing miserably.

well to show you the source, I have to find it.... castrillo is a tracer, but I'm the bad guy... interesting...
for people who like John Byrne, I would have thought you would have had the courtesy to not post images from artists who have stolen from him within the past year.
I don't want to upset JB, its his battle to fight if he's upset about castrillo art being posted on his website

"silly accusation"
Really guys? Accusing ROB LIEFELD and ANTHONY CASTRILLO of tracing is silly!?!?
It's not like either have a history of tracing or anything. How silly of me

No, not silly.
Rude.
And JB is a big boy. If there's anything unresolved between him and Anthony
Castrillo then that's their business, not ours. He'll let us know if there's
anything he's concerned about here.
In the meantime, grow the fuck up or take your ignorant crusade elsewhere.

but you're not accusing Rob Liefeld, you're accusing MAC. People actually like MAC around here.

Hey guys......
I for one don't want to see the new artwork thread used for this debate. Someone could try starting a thread, "Is it a swipe if an artist is trying to emulate the look of other artists?" or something like that. See if it flies. Or just take the debate elsewhere.
In the meantime, how 'bout that 4th World art up above?

I come off strong there in my last couple of posts, but rather than editing
it out, I'll let it stand because in context of what we enjoy around here I
feel it's justifiable to speak that way.
We are comic art lovers here. United of course by our appreciation for the
work of JB, but we have this thread in which to share our appreciation of
others.
One thing that's understood by almost every single person here, whether
looking at one of JB's commissions or one of someone else's, is that
somebody paid good money for that art, and does not deserve to hear
someone come in here and insult it.
If you don't have something nice to say about the art, then keep your
mouth shut.
It really shouldn't be hard to do at all.
