Just joking of course, that's a great page Derek, I love it. I just love cinematic effects like these.

After long months of seething with jealousy at all the terrific art you guys have in your posession, I offer up my sketches from the Baltimore Comic Con. Keep buying, but more importantly, keep sharing.

Have to agree with JPB. Particularly enjoyed that Beta Ray Bill piece.  Btw, who is that feline character at the top of your second post, Joe?

Thanks guys. Yes, the Beta Ray Bill is too awesome. As soon as I heard Walt Simonson was going to be there, that was one of my missions. Joakim, the character is a mouse from Mice Templar by Michael Avon Oeming. Don't recall the name offhand at the moment.

It's a mouse? And here I thought it looked so feline...  Like the look though, so I may have to check that Mice Templar out. Any collections available?

Ears are covered by the hood, so I can see why you would see that. No collection yet, the sixth issue is getting ready to come out soon. I believe you can read the first issue online at Myspace. Just add Myspace Comic Books to your friends list, if you use Myspace, that is. It is a very enjoyable book.

Wow!!

I'm particularly impressed with the Chris G. and Ron Wilson sketches (the latter drew my first nonreprint Marvel comic--MTIO #12)!!!

I probably should have put the artists, but figured everyone would figure them out. They are:

Franco Aureliani (Art Baltazar's partner on Patrick the Wolf Boy and Tiny Titans)

Walt Simonson

Kyle Baker

Micahel Avon Oeming

Erik Larsen (didn't realize he didn't sign it until later.)

Don Rosa

Chris Giarrusso

Ron Wilson

They are all fantastic. Not too shabby of a line up for a first time. Ron Wilson was the artist on so many of my favorite books when I was just getting into comics. One of my favorites was the QuestProbe series, of all things, with the Torch and Thing. There was also a Marvel Two-In-One with Ant-Man. Some of the first books that were "mine". I totally dig Chris G's stuff. Mini Marvels is great, and I picked up G-Man off his table. Very funny stuff.
