Kevin's Tom Grummett page

Oops, I missed this one. Nice page and nice inking. Love the feel. Congrats, Kevin.

Heya guys,

Got this the other week for a steal.  I am a massive Adam Kubert fan and his wolverine run is my favourite.  Getting a page from this run has been a dream for a while.  So when this piece came up.  I had to have it.

It went for next to nothing and I was worried it might not come.  But it arrived today!!

Derek, thanks.  I really like Grummett and was dissapointed to learn that he doesn't do commissions.  To find such a great pin-up piece, though, and to have it inked by Al Vey - that was cool.

This may be an odd question, but when you guys frame your stuff do you do anything special to help preserve them?  I know not to put them in the sunlight but, I don't know if this's a dumb question, but do they make special frames for preservation or something?  thanks

Archival (acid free) matte, with UV glass. Very early in this thread there was a whole discussion on it. A custom framer will know what materials to use. I'm sure some of the other guys can help.

Superman #418, pg 6

Pencils by Curt Swan, inks by Dave Hunt

Another fine page by Swan--great images of the Daily Planet gang, Metallo (this is my all-time favorite version of him), and 'Superman-X'.

Saw Dick Ayers at Motor City this past May and thought it'd be a good idea to get a commission.

Sgt. Fury. Sorry again for th gray art. Also if you see a light dot pattern, this was on thin paper I took the picture on a chair back (to hold my artwork up).

I bought a few of JB's pages from Jim W recently.  They are posted on my CAF gallery.
