If you haven't seen it, it's New Art to you. I've decided I would start with my three pieces of original art that I picked up back around 2000. Like many of my friends, we never knew that this even existed. We always assumed the artist would keep and never part with. Lucky us.
This first piece is from our own, JB. I love this page because even without dialogue, you have an approximation of what is being said. You have to love storytelling abilities. These have all been framed, so I had to take pictures.

Guy Davis was great on it. I had been reading him since his Realm days and was excited to see him make it to the big two (no offense to Arrow comics).

Derek, I'd never heard of the Realm before. The earliest work of his that'd I know about was Baker Street. oh well, just some more comics to buy ...

I am unsure of the distribution, but it was at least a local comic in Michigan. His style is completely different back then. More cartoonish. I think Bendis end up writing some issues later on after Davis left. They (Arrow, Caliber, Bee, etc.) also published Deadworld which had Vince Locke's early work as well.

Huge congrats, Gerry! That Colan piece is stunning... awesome... I'd even go so far as to say sublime... and yet still feel that I'm looking for more appropriate words. A lucky Scotsman, you!
