Also have a fondness for vintage Bob Brown. Here's a page from my Studio
wall, inked by Wally Wood.
Sorry for the distortion. This is a digital photo, not a scan.

Dave, I love the idea of the JSA vs. Spider-Man's villains. That Vokes piece is great!

My newest from MC Wyman, an addition to my little Spider-man team-ups semi-theme. This time I asked MC to add any Marvel hero he wished versus any Spider-Man villain..the result:

Great stuff on this page of the thread! That Rosa piece is a knock-out-- it exudes a love of comics and it's so off the wall that it stands apart from its inspirations.
And every time I see Wally Wood inks I wonder why no one else seems to have picked up that style and carried it on. Is there a Wally Wood clone out there today?
Great Superboy pages.

New kid here who just finally finsihed the thread last night. Beyond a general that's ~really~ cool ...
I'm _so_ jealous of those of you who got something from Guy Davis. Once I'd decided that I wanted to take the plunge Davis was one of the first I went looking for. I can't remember if I actually smacked myself or not when I found out that he doesn't do commissions any more. Very lucky guys.
And Gerry, a Paul Grist? That's just amazing. He's also someone that I went looking for and was frustrated that I couldn't really find anything on him. I miss Kane and Jack Staff is a favorite. Was that Dr. Strange a one off or do you know if he does regular commissions? And then the follow up to that would be, do you know how to get in touch with him?
I hope to have some stuff to post myself soon.

Kevin-
I've gotten to know Guy over the years from setting up at the Detroit con, as well as swindling sketches from him. Every May he's at the Motor City con, so start planning your trip now. (there used to be an October con as well that might return next year).
If you can never go, let me know when it gets closer to May, and I'll see if I can get you something. He tends to not like doing con sketches, so I usually have to sit and throw things at him until he starts drawing...
Anyway, Guy is an extremely nice fellow, and I'm sure that he'd be horribly embarrassed by the praise we tend to give him...
but that's what you get when you're awesome...

JB, I love that page!!!
I think Brown is terribly underrated, epsecially when inked by Wood.
