Wow, Dave, very cool piece!  I'm loving what you've been posting and it's obvious you are a full-fledged art-commissioning addict!  Welcome to the club.  We meet Thursday evenings at the Holiday Inn.

edited to add:  Oh, and please link to your CAF gallery.  =0)

Wow Dave. That is great and I like that you went outside the box with the commission. I love the Ducks. Indiana Scrooge is killer.

That commission will certainly be more fully appreciated by those that have read Rosa's Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck, which should be required reading and enriched the character beyond belief. :)

And now for something completely (or at least somewhat) different...

Sandman vs. the Vulture by Neil Vokes:

Possible thanks to Brian Floyd.  I had the idea on my own, but after I would have read his post suggesting it in my "request for match-ups" thread so my subconscious may have been at work. :-)

Superboy #166, pg 6

Pencils by Bob Brown, inks by Mike Esposito

A nice page from 1970.  I always liked Brown's work on Superboy, and am glad to have such a nice example for my collection.

Dave, your Neil Vokes piece is absolutely beautiful. Is he relatively easy to order a commission from?

*Not Dave, but I've commissioned from him twice* He is incredibly easy and very good with communication in gathering info to make sure he is doing what you want. I got a choice of prelims on on of my pieces before he did the final piece..... quick too!

That Vokes is awesome, Dave. The mood is just perfect. Congrats yet again! Like William said, you're certainly on a roll.
