Nice piece, Joe--I get an almost Buscema vibe from it.

Joe,
AWESOME piece. Just awesome. Ron is so underrated.
On another note, while I may be a huge Batman fan, when it comes to the Marvel Universe, I really dig the Skrulls, so when this gem became available I HAD to have it regardless of cost(yeah, I overpaid a bit)

Fabrice, I am SEETHING with jealousy. There's a few things I seriously would like to get before I turn up my toes - one is something by Alan Davis. Preferably a DR & Quinch, but that Cap'n Britain is great. You guys who get him along to your conventions are so lucky... And Joe, that is a magnificent Frenz piece. Is it rude to ask what your winning bid was? No dramas if you don't wish to disclose.
Cheers! Mal

Ari,
I wouldn't call $331.00 overpaying. That's a great deal on a great piece.

Ummmm Derek, 331 would be a fantastic deal, but that's NOT what I paid.

Ooops. Sorry, $341.00. At least that is what it closed for on E-bay, unless you bought it from the winner. Regardless, nice pick-up.

You got some sort of chip on your shoulder, Derek? What business is it of
yours what Ari paid?

No chip Al. I was merely pointing out I thought it was a bargain at the price it recently sold for on E-bay. That's all.

Thanks Al, but Derek and I are cool. Fact is that I didn't get this one off ebay. Tracked the buyer down and picked it up off him. He made a profit and I got a piece of art I decided was a must have. Everyone won out

Sorry guys - it came across to me that Derek was casting aspersions on
Ari's sense of value. If the two of you are cool, great!
