Paul, your perseverance got its prize. What a great drawing!

If someone doesn't know Adi Granov's work, try "Iron Man: Viva Las Vegas"
now for sale. It's amazing!

2 more JB pages for my collection came today thanks to Jim Warden. One is a page from Danger Unlimited and features the great chase around the skyscrapers. I love this scene. And my first NextMen page, not a spectacular one but I love light and darkness effects in John's work. By the way, on the NextMen page, the black has lightened to gray in many places. Does anyone here think it's a crazy idea to do the blacks again with a marker ? It's a real dilemma for me.

Unless it is John doing the marlering, yes I think you are crazy to do it yourself.

I own a page or two of published art where the blacks are noticeably starting to fade....I know I wouldn't darken them in myself.  Just my opinion.

Do not darken them yourself.  Inking is much harder than it looks.  Do not darkent them with a marker.  Totally different kind of ink.  You might end up with more problems than you have now.  Enjoy them how they are.  The fading is not that bad.

Those blacks are not faded. That's the ink I used. Some editors used to get
on my case about it, and then it printed -- as I expected -- just fine.

…Adi Granov…

Should you mention his name? Based on his signature, it would seem he
prefers to be anonymous!

Ok. Thanks for your opinion everyone, especially you JB. I noticed the ink was different but I wasn't sure. And John, on the DU page there are a few names with what looks like phone numbers and I've never seen that written on your pages : Any info you'd like to share ?
The writings are
Hero->John Danovitch (+phone number)  Frank Kurtz (ditto)   Mike Goldman(ditto)

This reminds me when I was teaching at a community college years ago. My signature is just a P line L and G line. When I first started working at the college, I had to fill out some paperwork. The department secretary took one look at my signature, told me that it looked horrible and then made me fill out new paperwork with a clearer signature. I learned really quick who actually ran our department. I kept my sloppy quick signature for everything else. But anything I did at the college had a nice clear professional (her words) signature.
