"
it would be cool to see JB do a Conan today"
*****
That Conan is a spectacular piece. I'll take Gerry's comment one step further and say Ari should now be required to commission a modern interpretation of Conan from JB.

Great Star Trek page, Lloyd. For some reason I was just thinking about that story today.

John,
Have you any recollection of the Conan sketch?

Three new purchases to add to the mix. (And I really should start holding off on posting until I receive them so I don't jinx myself, but...)
First up, a page from the 90s Deadman series by Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez:

Then, the next installment of the "JSA vs. Spider-Man villains" series - Power Girl vs. Rhino and John Jameson by Andy Smith.

And finally, the first of three "companion pieces" to the JSA vs. Spider-Man villains series. I don't have the funds or wall space to frame all of these, so for the foreseeable future I'm going to be keeping them in a "portfolio book." And it just didn't seem right to do that without a "cover page." So thanks to board regular Dan Avenell for doing one for me (based on Dave Cockrum's cover layout for X-Men #100):
(And yes, it occurs to me I could have saved a ton of money by just doing this to begin with, but where's the fun in that? :-) )
