My buddy Tom Derenick has been working in the industry for years and his amazing work ethic has been paying off over the past few. Not only does he cite John Byrne as a big influence on his work, but he is one of the most generous and kind people that I know. At the shop that my college buddy owns, we get together for a meal and night out on the weekends and he recently doodled this on the cover of what I had previously thought was a pretty silly treand oin comics... the varient, blank cover meant for sketches:
