What started out as a rip-off of the Days of Future Past cover turned into an FBI style wanted poster, with the shadow of someone looking at it...by Geof Isherwood.

Question for all of you art/commission hunters: I need a cartoony-style artist (more Elioupolos and Giarusso than Byrne and Adams) who does superheroes and preferably can squeeze 13 characters (a group of 2, a group of 6 and a group of 5) in one piece with room for lettering (which s/he would also take care of). An affection for Silver Age Marvel characters, including a couple of obscure Spider-Man villains, would be a strong plus. It doesn't have to be anyone I might have heard of. If you have a trustworthy cousin, that would work, too. :-)
Any suggestions? Please? :-)
(I thought about asking Hembeck, but I don't know if this is his kind of thing and I'm trying to avoid using him anyway. One of the goals of the series this is a part of is to use different artists and I already have a Hembeck piece in the set. (Giarusso is sticking with single character commissions for the time being so he's not an option either.))

Todd Nauk may be someone to consider. He did some work on Sensational Spider-Man and has a cartoony style. If he does commissions, he may be just what you are looking for. Though I picked up a page from his run, I only have a quick sketch on the computer, but he did this in minutes:

Ryan, how about I just distract you with another AF-related commission instead? ;)

I took my son to New York Comic-Con for Kids Day last Sunday and he got this great Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Sketch from Peter Laird.

This is the first time I post an original art here. Since it looks like you
appreciate Rude's work and comissions, what about this reinterpretation of
The Dude of the Demon #1 cover by Kirby?
I bought it from the owner of the original art of the real Demon #1 cover.

For the fourth volume that compiled all Byrne's run on Spain ( I was
coordinator/graphic designer/letterer/colorist), I merged the covers of
alpha Flight #11 and 25 to create a new image, and then, I recolored it
(sorry, John!)
Here you'll find a bigger image of the
comparation.

I comissioned Rubinstein to ink the Marvelmania plate with Galactus done
by Kirby. This piece was shown in its pencils form, and it was only inked
in the cover of the GODS portfolio by Royer, although he had to modify
the drawing to avoid copyright problems.
I thought that great part of the raw power of the original piece was lost
when inked. Because of this, I asked Rubinstein to be faithful to the
pencils, and avoid to use the perfect rounded dots.
Rubinstein took a while to deliver, but I was finally happy with the
finished piece. I just hope you like it too!
