Yes, very cool.  I've been telling Hembeck he needs to show off his commission pieces on his website and it looks like he's finally putting together a gallery to do just that!  At least for his "across the page" pieces....I'd like to see all his cover redos as well.

Glad to be considered a "far-sighted gent" by a comic pro!

Nice one, Joe. Must admit that it's tempting to consider a little Hembeck at some point in the future. Would require me getting PayPal though, I guess, and I'm not sure I'm ready for that leap just yet. ;)

Btw, did the Hembeck Omnibus actually hit the market I can't find it readily available at Amazon for some reason (no longer available, and before that over a month availability estimate). Just wanted to know if somebody knew the deal here?

Ah, ok. Thanks, Gerry. For a while I had this sad feeling that I'd managed to miss the book (though it seemed like an awefully short window for that to be the case).

Don't know. I haven't seen any price info on that (+ postage over here), so I don't know. If the deal ain't too bad, I'm definitely not opposed to it, but my main concern is getting the collection itself.

Actually, I'm still thinking of dropping Hembeck a line, just to inform him that the JBF has earned him (at least) one new fan of his work. Maybe I'll get around to it...
